heat ban!

okay so my hair is feeling fried,frazzeled and totally wrecked. And i feel bad for it,and also i want it to grow for the summer so for the rest of the month of april i am going to try my best not to straighten it! My hair naturally is quite the hot mess,its frizzy wavy yet not a nice wavy and really disturbing looking! I will be doing lots of top knots (buns) putting braids in my hair to make it nicely wavy,side plaits and messy ponytails! I will be doing a hair of the day tommorow so stay tuned!

January Favorites!

Okay guys so i just thought i would do a January favorites blog post!:)

Okay so i recently purchased this toner as i had run out of my simple toner,I really wanted to try a different brand because i had been using simple for quite sometime,so i didn't want my skin to become immune to it so  if my skin gets very bad i an go back to it!sorry for the rambling guys!So this is just the nivea refreshing toner which smells gorgeous.My skin feels super clean and fresh afterwards.

I've been really loving shorts recently, because my mom recently booked  foreign  holiday to the sun for out summer holiday and i have gone mad buying clothes for it already!And of course when i start getting into the summer mood what does ireland do??? its starts freezing!Snow on the mountains,ice on the roads!None the less im still gonna wear my shorts just maybe with an extra thick pair of tights! 

I really like this creme blush stick in the shade plaza pink,it adds a really nice flush of pink to the cheeks!

i really love the glitz and glamour of this glimmery gold nail varnish!

DIY flag shorts!

These are a cheaper version of the topshop american flag shorts.I used a pair of old ripped river island light wash baggy/ish jeans.I just used blue and red fabric paint and i already had white acrylic paint so i used that!

VaLeNtInEs gift guide for HER

With valentines day fastly approaching here are a few little ideas for your loved one!any of these could probably be given to a friend as just a sweet little gesture.
These presants can be given in any relation ship from a teenage fling to long lost soul mates!
Firstly You can never go wrong with flowers unless your like me and your allergic!They also dont need to be rip off red roses,you can get mixtures or if you know her favorite just get her a bouquet of those!
Next dinner!treat her to a romantic dinner in her favorite place of if money is short,set a romantic mood with candles,turn on some jazzy music and make her her favorite meal!
Chocolate?Im not too sure if i would like this actually....Maybe for girls who are mega chocaholics but not me!
You can get her some really nice extravagant bath and shower scrubs,gels,bombs any thing nice and smelly!
Also anything from Mac i personally think a really nice bright pink or red lipstick is very festive for the valentines time of year!
Also a hand written poem is really romantic and easy on the wallet!

FINALLY THE HAUL!

Here is my long a waited haul!doesnt seem like alot but i enjoyed buying them and spent quite alot on them!

The body shop shower gel was 4:50 euro

This is a really cute sundress from primark,this isnt the exact one mine is all stripes and it was 6euro

The chemist near me started doing mac which is really peculiar because there is only one other shop in Ireland that sells these!It is in the shade hush and is a creme colour base and it was 14:50

Next is a check skirt from a/wear and was reduced from 25 to 5 euro!this is not the exact one but near enough!

Next i just bought two of my foundations!in the shade OO1 ivory!they were only 3:59

I also got some other bits and bobs but could not fund any pics online but will be taking my own soon!also a valentines make-up and outfit coming soon!and a gift guide!

TIGI shampoo bar review

I recently purchased TIGI's  rockaholic shampoo bar.I bought it In my local TKmaxx, it was on the clearance aisle and was marked "not so perfect" meaning slightly damaged,but when i took it out of the wrapper there was only 2 small parts broken off.The bar only cost me 2euro which was amazing value,especially when it is a TIGI product.The scent of the product is utterly divine!I cant really describe the smell!But take my word for it,its awesome!

how to use:
soak your hair,and wet the shampoo bar,
swivel the bar on your hair until you get a lather and then fold up the ends or your hair,

keep folding the foam from the bar into all the hair,
rinse,
condition,
rinse!
My hair was the softest it had ever been!

Trends Of This Time!

DENIM is sooo huge at the moment,which im loving,denim can be worn with most things an is very comfy!
The whole distressed denim look is huge this season,and also mental colour/patterned jeans are really super in!
I will be doing a haul very very soon and also a DIY cut up denim jeans to make shorts,maybe dyed!

hectic!How to organiseeee!

hey everyone!I know i posted a post just yesterday but wanted to apologies for not posting anything in quite some time!Iv been busy with school work,exercise and other bits and bobs!I am normally quite organised!But for some reason it has gone a little down hill!Anyways here are the ways i get organised!!
ORGANISATION!
1.Get a calender and a diary.
2.If your a student get a school journal for essays and homework etc.
3.Make monthly goals,Save 30euro for new jeans!anything!,maybe as and award also!
4.Have a notepad for lists!
5.Plan out a schedule for weekdays.
6.Plan a monthly budget,this helps with over spending and depth.

Time To Get Toned!

Long time no post guys!im going to be doing a collective haul very soon,just gathering bits and bobs!
But today im going to be talking about my new fitness regime!We are going on a foreign holiday this year,therefor i will be in summer clothes (bikinis,dresses,shorts,etc)and i want to be nice and toned,I also want my skin to be really good and have a "glow!". I do not tan one bit!But i dont really mind!
Anyways i have started eating super healthy,im only 14 so the word diet is not allowed in my house!But im Just eating lots of fruit and vegetables and brown bread! I am defiantly feeling the benefits also!I have been working out at home alot more and have begun to get a little addicted!in a good way tho!
MY WORKOUT REGIME!
In the morning i Do as many squats and arm lifts as I can (don't set a specific amount,You may get disheartened!)
I also do As many sit ups as i can,break,and do more....
Next I do leg lunges,
I do these both in the morning and the evening,
I also do p.e in school!
my favorite work out is aerobics on the trampoline!

Orange is In!

The new trend this spring is ORANGE!Not a colour everyone can pull off but everyone can try!orange has a very young,funky vibe to it!I love orange,even though i dont have alot of orange clothes!I will be doing a haul or outfit of the day soon using orange bits and bobs!Also orange eye and lip looks are in so i will be also doing an orange make-up look!

The Old Reliable's..........

Converse what more can i say? Not the best in winter but we can all suffer and be freezing in the name of fashion right?I personally think the three main colours you should have is white,black,and red or wine.Then you can expand into patterns and colours! Obviously this isn't a rule because i sure didn't build my collection like that!I started out with my first pair of canvas black high tops,I was eight and was on holiday in California.I added baby pink thick laces to funk them up abit!They are now passed down to my cousin who is starting her own collection!,and shes catching up!

School Uniforms..... :(

So for anyone who doesn't have to wear a school uniform.......LUCKY YOU!
The fugly,uncomfortable, horrendous looking things are tortures to wear 5days a week.The point of them is what exactly?? Its meant to take the stress of us for trying to keep up with the jonses?Or do they just do it so we look like an army of horrific, identical looking girls! (i go to an all girls school)
Enough babbling on about my torture's school days lets talk about how to "pimp" my school uniform!

Firstly my school uniform consists of a plaid skirt (pleated),Dark coloured polo shirt (ew),and a round neck also dark jumper (ITCHY!) dark tights and dark leather shoes!
THE SKIRT.... supposedly meant to be worn below the knee?I have never seen it worn that long!I personally don't wear it very high atall!Its not very classy.I wear my skirt a size bigger and then put a elastic belt on them which keeps the skirt high up doesnt cause bulges (because of rolls in the skirt)and also pulls in the waist.
THE POLO.......tuck them into your skirt!!Hide them.Do anything to conceal the fact that you are wearing a a polo shirt!
THE JUMPER.....I wear a long sleeve top underneath so its not as frickin itchy!And i also like to pull the top sleeves of the top out of the jumper so that there's a pop of colour at the end of the boring school jumper sleeves! I also colour in the school crest which is on my school jumper,I think it looks rad!
THE TIGHTS OR SOCKS...........tights with designs on them look really cute aslong as there not to crazy! during September,October,April,May and June I like to wear knee high navy socks normally with bows on them!
THE SHOES..........last but not least (sorry for the cliche).I either wear "Dubarry"navy sailor type shoes or navy suede pumps with cute bows on them.
THE LOOK...........Hair,I like to wear it different daily!putting bows and clips and hair bands and all that jazz.Nails,keep them painted 24/7 it adds a pop of colour and makes you look girly.Make-up keep it to a minimum,bright lip gloss,colour hint of eyeliner and a lick of clear mascara is perfect!

SKIN!SKIN!SKIN!

Okay so skin can be a tricky and touchy subject. Some people are born with oily skin genes and some are born with perfect skin!I personally have surprisingly okay skin!For a 14 year old girl that both her older brother and sister had slightly bad skin. I had seen my brother and sister have bad skin and didn't want it at all!! From then on i went crazy buying skin products, looking up websites for homemade face masks and toners and so on,(homemade is great on the pocket because you normally have most of the requirements and ingredients). I do a class in school called home economics,its pretty much how to take care of yourself,babies,how to sew and bake and all that jazz!!It tells you how to care care of your skin!

HOW I TAKE CARE OF MY SKIN.
First of all i gave up most fried (oily!) foods!this means the body isn't taking in as much oil so it doesn't have to get rid of it.Causing skin problems.
Next drink water! Enough said.
Eat lots of fruit and vegetables.
cleanse,tone and moisturize every single day twice a day.
Exfoliate every second day unless you need it more or not as much.

NOBODYS PERFECT>

Don't feel bad or paranoid about bad skin problems , nobody's skin is perfect everyone gets blemishes and pimples.

My Outfit Of The Day

My outfit of the day!

The gold top is actually a silver crop style top that i turned inside out which is gold!It is from river island it was 35 euro I dont know how much it is exactly.Over it I have a Cream Victorian style shirt from penneys or primark as other people know it as.It was 13euro which is amazing value!Over that is a wooly cardigan with fur,it has to be one of the coziest things ever!My jeans are also river island and i got them in the sale which is amazing and they were only 18euro.They are a dark green colour and are extremely comfortable.My shoes are my trustworthy brogues!They are also from penneys and were only 11euro,they are the most worn things in my wardrobe.

                                                                                             

Navy Night Time Make-Up

Navy Night Time Make-up.This look is perfect for any skin colour.This particular make-up is fantastic for any occasions, celebrations and party's.To complete this make-up look i used as follows.....

EYES:

1.Apply W7 "Prime Magic Eye Primer"to all over the eye,lid and under eye using your finger or wand.

2.With a fluffy eye shadow brush apply a sheer white shimmery eye shadow.I used "Donna De Carlos Enriched Shimmer"

3.Use a creamy/liquid peachy/white eye shadow on the inner corner to about 3/4 into the eyelid use wand or finger.I used "Avon beyond colour eye shadow.

4.Next with a blender brush apply a navy shimmery eye shadow i used "17 eyes"in "REGAL" apply this to the outer corner and up to the crease leaving a cap between under the crease and all above the upper lash line.Blend the navy eye shadow all along the crease and outer corner.It should nearly turn into a light blue/lilac nearly silver.This should give a navy looking smoky eye and should leave a very dramatic look to the eye.

5.Apply gold to the areas of the eye where it doesn't have navy or the cream shadow.Which should be below the crease and above the upper lash line.This should give a very Hollywood glamorous  look to the eye, I used "NYC eye shadow wheel Brown Eyed Girl" use the gold.

6.Using a liquid liner,I used "MUA Make Up Academy's liquid liner " in Black.apply 3/4 of the way in the eye and do a medium sized line and  do an upwards flick at the end.

7.For they eyelashes I used "lanome hypnose mascara" and then for extra drama I used "maybelline falsies".

 

Things I Cant Live Without!

No matter who we are,what we look like,height,weight,colour, abilities we should all get to feel like were "worth it" to some people its popping on a coat of nail varnish to others its treating themselves to the newest Prada bag,whatever it is as long as it makes us feel like were floating on air or walking down Marc Jacobs runway we all need it.These are just a few things that make me feel confident,and cat walk ready.......I have chosen my 5 things by my most used products and tools.
 Firstly the most amazing hair tool of all time..........GHD  could it be any more fantastic?? i have the baby pink breast cancer one,which makes it even more special,i use this daily and is defiantly one of my most reached for items.
Next is the "CATRICE cosmetics ALLROUND CONCEALER" it has to be said it may be only 4euro but it works wonders,the green for redness,red for under eye darkness and the skin colours for any other problem areas,it is a truly wonderful product!
Third on my top five list is "Dove"summer glow tinted shimmer moisturizer, so okay fact having a "glow" to your skin is automatically gonna make you feel slimmer and more confident,this gives a lovely summer sun tan with a hint of shimmer,this is defiantly a must have for summer time
.So second last is the THE BODY SHOP "THE SPARKLER" it comes in both gold or pink,i obviously have the pink,it is a gorgeous looking product with the little pump sprays a perfect amount of the "dust" to the skin,it can be sprayed anywhere and also has a slight scent to it which is very girly like.
Last but no least in any case "VIVA LA JUICY" juicy couture's most Delicious perfume so far,the bottle is so vintage and  funky.the perfume is quite fruity and girly and is so fabulous.It is my all time favorite perfume for any occasion.
These are my 5 things that make  me feel a million dollars.........
